Jack Goodman is an independent musician, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in Brackley, UK. Navigating the space between eccentric art-pop and transportive look soundscapes, Goodman is also known as one-half of the warped pop duo Instructions For Song and as founder of independent imprint Mod Joe Records. 

As a solo artist, Jack composes deeply immersive ambient music that balances tactile textures with minimalist restraint. His expansive debut collection, 'if you look closely (LP)', capturing five years of sonic exploration (2020–2025), stitches together archival tape, hand-sculpted space and the kind of warmth you only get from sand. This identity bleeds through on tracks like "mudguts" and "chorleys sweet sips." 

When not in his world, Goodman operates out of Mod Joe Records HQ recording studio in Brackley, producing for independent artists and curating physical media releases that champion the underground. 

chris kinsey is an oxford based post-sound specialist, working primarily in sound design, sound mixing and soundtrack composition for film and TV.
